Yaffa Films is an independent production company making short films and features in comedy, drama, and dark comedy — with a distinct commitment to Palestinian identity, memory, diaspora, and literary tradition.
Palestinian stories have shaped world literature for a century — Kanafani's exiles, Darwish's elegies, the humour that survives occupation. Cinema has barely begun to tell them. Yaffa Films exists to change that.
We produce work that is cinematically ambitious, where the comedy is real, the grief is earned, and no single film is asked to represent an entire people.
